15/7/11 - I saw these lights reflecting on Canoe Lake last night and have never seen them so long before, they looked pretty cool so had to go back and photograph them.

Day 197 - Field of Flowers
14/7/11 - While out walking the other day I passed a few fields full of these flowers, the whole field was covered with them, they were only tiny.

Day 194 - Chichester Harbour
11/7/11 - The View from the top of the hills above Kingsley vale is awesome, in the distance is Chichester and Chichester harbour, with Selsey Bill and Bracklesham Bay in the far distance.
Day 193 - Bosham
10/7/11 - I have had loads of magic shows to do recently and some of them in Bosham, It was here that legend tells of King Canute telling the tide to turn back and drowning when it didn't, it was thought he was buried in the church but it is now thought his bones are in Winchester Cathedral.

Day 192 - Kingsley Vale
9/7/11 - This ancient woodland in West Sussex was the site of a bloody battle with some vikings, What remains is a forest of Yew trees, some as old as 500 years old. Some say that the forest is haunted and the Yew Trees move around after dark.

Day 191 - The Devils Humps
8/7/11 - He I am with Nat and Andie on top of the hill overlooking Kingley Vale near Chichester, The views are spectacular and we are standing on a one of the ancient burial mounds called the Devils Humps.

Day 190 - Radcliffe Revisited
7/7/11 - I spent about 2 hours wandering around Oxford the other night, I expected it to be quite well floodlit but I was wrong, apart from the street lights the buildings are actually quite dark, this was a 20 second exposure at f3.5.

Day 189 - Red Admiral
6/7/11 - It must be the time of year for Butterflies, there were hundreds of them on top of Beacon hill in North Hampshire, Again just 2 days later there were lots more during a walk through the Sussex countryside.

Day 188 - Highclere from Beacon Hill
5/7/11 - Home of the Earls of Carnarvon, the 5th Earl being the most famous, along with Howard Carter he opened up the tomb of Tutankhamen. the castle is home to many artifacts from the tombs. He is buried at the top of Beacon hill, it is the site of an ancient hill fort and over looks the home of the Earls of Carnarvon, its quite a beautiful place.

Day 187 - The Radcliffe Camera
4/7/11 - I spent a day in Oxford on Saturday as I was working in the area during the evening, I have never really been to Oxford before, its a lovely city. This is the Radcliffe Camera which is actually a Library built in 1737-48.

Day 185 - Butser at Night
2/7/11 - Butser Hill lies at the west end of the South Downs National Park and although its away from the bright lights of any cities it still has a lot of light pollution at night, this was a 2 minute exposure with the glow from Petersfield lighting up the clouds.

Day 184 - Portrait of a Tree
1/7/11 - I spent a few hours out the other night photographing the stars and on the way back to my car I took a photo of this tree kind of as an afterthought, I really liked how it turned out.
