Day 701 - Ancient Beeches
27/11/12 - Some of these old beeches must be years old, These ones were in a long line up towards Lewesdon hill, there used to be an iron age settlement on top of the hill so these trees may well have marked the edge of an old road.

25/11/12 - Here I am standing on top of Pilsdon hill looking east towards Lewesdon hill and Beaminster.
Day 697 - Gingerbread Dorchester
24/12/12 - I was lucky enough to perform at the Dorchester hotel in London recently and thought this Gingerbread model of the hotel was amazing, it stands just beyond the foyer and I am surprised it has not been gobbled up yet.

23/11/12 - This is Horsell Common just on the ende of Woking in the west of Surrey, It was here in War of the Worlds by H G Wells that the first Martian spacecraft landed on earth. Maybury hill was the location of the reporters home and that is just a couple of miles away.

Day 710 - Another Star in the Sky
7/12/12 - When I was a kid I was fascinated with the stars and planets, the lady living next door was a keen astronomer and helped me develop my interest by lending me her telescope, I have been a keen astronomer ever since. When I was 18, this same lady booked me to entertain at her sons birthday party, it was my first ever paid booking and my first ever magic performance. Last night that same lady passed away after a 22 year long battle with cancer. Thank you Jan Robinson for everything you ever did for me, there is another star in the sky tonight.

Day 684 - Neptune

8/11/12 - Behind me is the top of Brown Willy, the highest point of Cornwall. There is currently a campaign taking place to change the name of Brown Willy back to the original name of Bronn Wennili which means 'Hill of Swallows'.

5/11/12 - I have driven through Bodmin moor on the A30 many many times and I have looked at the amazing landscape as I zoomed past but I have never actually ventured onto the moor, It feels a mysterious place, if the hills could talk I imagine they would have some tales to tell.

Day 668 - St James Church
27/10/12 - This is St James Church in Chipping Campden, it stands on the edge of the town and a walk around the grounds through the old gravestones is quite interesting.

26/11/12 - While wandering around the church grounds in Chipping Campden I discovered these really cool paths between the treen, it was actually quite spooky with the gravestones dotted around and not a person in sight.

Day 666 - The Riddle House
25/10/12 - I saw this house while driving into Chipping Campden and it immediately matched the image in my mind of the Riddle House in Harry Potter. The Riddle House is the childhood home of Tom Riddle.

Here is the Market Hall in Chipping Campden, it is nearly 400 years old and still standing strong, it is owned by the National Trust and stands in the centre of the town.

Day 659 - Lotus Esprit S1 - Wet Nellie

This is the Lotus Esprit S1 and if I saw it on the road today I would think it was the ugliest car in the world but the fact that this one was a submarine was amazing and I so wanted one, I love James Bond :D

17/10/12 - When I was a kid this car was my dream car, I thought it was AWESOME, It has four wheel drive, 52 inch tyres and it weighs 4 tons, On July 17, 1964, Donald Campbell set a world speed record of 403.10 mph.

Day 654 - Into The Mist
13/10/12 - This was the view that greeted me when I arrived at Ryde Pier to catch the ferry home after climbing St Boniface Down, The fog had actually cleared by the time we reached here but it soon thickened up again when the ferry made its way back to Portsmouth.
