Day 517 - Leaving Norway
30/5/12 - Its always sad to leave Norway, I consider it to be the most beautiful country in the world but never fear, I will be back :D
Day 516 - Lifejackets
29/5/12 - Something I walk past time and time again while onboard the cruise ships, usually most people are looking the other way out to sea.
Day 515 - Growing Old
28/5/12 - With the moss growing on these rocks above Bergen it seems they have been here for years and years, the rocks probably have some amazing stories to tell.
Day 514 - Hug A Troll
27/5/12 - I think its important that when you go to Norway you MUST take part in the amazing pastime of troll hugging. If you see a troll then you hug it, simple as that. I wonder what kind this one is, I think he might be a Ringlefinch Troll.

Day 510 - Root of the Problem

Day 508 - The Magic Circle
21/5/12 - The Magic Trek was a charity walk by magicians from Portsmouth to the Magic Circle in London via Lewes. On the last day the team made it to the Magic Circle HQ in London, a total of 115 miles of walking.
My involvement in the Trek was driver of the official support vehicle and supplier of lunches, teas and coffees.
The Anthony Nolan trust is a UK charity that focuses on leukaemia and Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Day 507 - Parliamentary Refreshments
20/5/12 - The Magic Trek is a charity walk by magicians from Portsmouth to the Magic Circle in London via Lewes. On the last day we were lucky to be invited into the Houses of Parliament by our local MP Penny Mordaunt for drinks.

Day 504 - Nutbourne
17/5/12 - Mile 11 of the Magic Trek charity walk from Portsmouth to London via Lewes, here are the trekkers just leaving Nutbourne in West Sussex approaching Chichester, they had 23 miles to walk today and a further 104 to walk over the next 6 days.

Day 503 - MagicTrek Day 1
16/5/12 - Please let me introduce you to the Magic Trek, an amazing challenge involving 10 people who walked 115 miles from Portsmouth to London via Lewes over the course of 6 days to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
In this photo from Left to right is - Robin Fox, Andie Penn, Roy Charles, Nikki Stapleford, Jason Waskett, Penny Mordaunt (local MP and amazing supporter of the Trek) Sean Lobban (with Harvey the Rabbit) John Shuttleworth, Sharon Lobban, Glen Stone and Harold Straker.
This photo was taken on 16th May on day 1 of the Trek and was the start of 6 hellish days of blisters, swollen ankles, shin splints, sun burn, getting wet in the rain and many other ailments.

Day 498 - Azura in Flåm
11/5/12 - The cruise ship Azura really towers over the buildings in Flåm, I am pleased its not a permanent feature of the town.

Day 492 - Flåmsbana
5/5/12 - The Flåmsbana (Flam Railway) is a 12.6 mile railway line from Flåm to the main railway line in the mountains. it rises nearly 3000 ft and has 10 stations along the route, it is considered one of the steepest and most beautiful railways in the world.
Day 491 - Flåm
4/5/12 - Flåm is heaven on earth, such a beautiful place, there is no litter, no graffiti, everything is perfect and in the right place, I love it so much here.
Day 490 - Sognefjord
3/5/12 - The Fjords are some of the most beautiful places in the world and Sognefjord is the longest in Europe and the Second longest in the world, it is 125 miles long.

Day 489 - Sandnes
2/5/12 - This lovely vessel was one of the many that were docked in Stavanger Harbour, I think thise one called the Sandnes lives here as she is always here when I visit.
Day 488 - Rogaland
1/5/12 - I really like ships like this, old fashioned steamers, the type that Tin Tin and Captain Haddock would sail upon during their adventures.

30/4/12 - Here is Stavanger old town, it is a collecton of 18th and 19th century buildings and is the largest wooden settlement in Europe.

Day 486 - Steps into the Past
29/4/12 - These steps lead up to the old part of Stavanger with its little cobbled streets and wooden houses, well worth a visit if your ever in Stavanger.
Day 485 - Gigantic Visitor
28/4/12 - Here you can see the P&O Ship Azura in Stavanger Harbour, she is gigantic and I am sure the locals shudder when they see it coming in.
Day 484 - Stavanger Cathedral
27/4/12 - This is Stavanger Cathedral in Norway, I like Stavanger, its beautiful when the sun shines.
Day 483 - Fairmount Expedition
26/4/12 - These 2 ships were berthed in Stavanger Harbour and I thought they were very colourful, I was not sure what kind of vessels they actually were and i figured it was something to do with oil, I have since found out they are Tugs/supply vessels. The ship on the right is the Havila Mars and the one on the left is the Fairmount Expedition.
