Day 164 - The Hot Walls
11/6/11 - This beach (known locally as the hot walls) is just at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour, On the left you can see the Square Tower. I had to illuminate the beach with a torch as without that it was just too dark.
Day 163 - The Darkness Beckons
10/6/11 - The Arches and Tunnels in Old Portsmouth are one of my favourite photo locations, These archways are just so photogenic. this is the first time I have photographed them at night at they are so spooky, i love them.
Day 162 - Birth of a Nation
9/6/11 - This monument was erected in 1987 to commemorate the first fleet of colonists to travel to Australia, Captain Arthur Phillip sailed from Portsmouth in 1787 with 11 ships packed with 1,000 convicts and their jailers.

Day 160 - Strawberries
7/6/11 - Yummmmmm Strawberries, I LOVE Strawberries, I have eaten LOADS recently and today Mum came home with 2 pummets full of them, they taste so much better freshly picked from the field.
Day 159 - Cactus
6/6/11 - This Cactus has been in our Conservatory for years, how long do they live for, I am sure this one is at least 30,000 years old, I know because I counted the spines this morning.
Day 158 - Teabags
5/6/11 - Hanging the teabags out to dry ready for any visitors to pop in for a cuppa. Don't worry I don't actually do this, I tend to pop them straight in the tumble dryer these days.

Day 157 - Tiny Teddy
4/6/11 - In Swanage there are a couple of Teddy Bear shops and in one of them I found this very small Rupert the Bear, anyone who knows me well enough will know I love Rupert so I had to buy him.
Day 156 - Suitcases
3/6/11 - Oooo old suitcases are so interesting, they are all over the stations of the Swanage Steam railway.

Day 155 - Lichen
2/6/11 - There was lots of this lichen growing on Swanage Pier, i didn't think it would live in the salty sea conditions
Day 154 - Swanage Pier
1/6/11 - I love Swanage in Dorset, We stepped off the steam train and its like stepping back in time, I really don't think it has changed a bit since I was a kid.
Day 153 - Eddystone
31/5/11 - This is the Eddystone Steam train on the Swanage Railway in Dorset, We took a trip into Swanage on the steam railway, what a way to travel, relaxing, graceful and all with super squashy seats.
