29/7/11 - Our Ship stopped off in Naples and we decided that this was the perfect opportunity to go climb a Volcano, Mount Vesuvius stands at 1,281 m (4,203 ft) high, She is still very active with smoke and steam coming out of certain parts, also the smell of Sulphur. I asked a local if she was worried about living on the Volcano and she said she was sure it was nothing to worry about.

Day 211 - The Pantheon
28/7/11 - My First visit to the Pantheon, what an amazing building, it is huge and to think it is nearly 2000 years old, awesome.
Day 210 - Vatican Bowl
27/7/11 - This Bowl in the Vatican Museums is Immense, its big enough for a family bath :D I wonder what it was actually used for (if it ever was), you could christen one giant baby in that.
Day 209 - Back in the Habit
26/7/11 - I saw this scene as we were leaving the Vatican and it made me chuckle, They were all so excited about getting their photo taken.
Day 208 - The Vatican
25/7/11 - Last time I went to the Vatican I totally missed out on this amazing staircase (don't ask me how as its the only way to get out). apart from the Sistine Chapel this must get more onlookers than most other things in the Vatican.
Day 207 - St Peters Basilica
24/7/11 - This awesome domed roof dominates the horizon, this was taken from a window in the Vatican.

Day 206 - Reflecting Pool
23/7/11 - Last Pic from Toulon in southern France, I liked this pool, it reminded me of the long reflecting pool in Washington DC only a lot smaller, shallower and not quite as amazing :oP
Day 205 - Not too Long in Toulon
22/7/11 - We only spent a couple of hours in Toulon, I think most people did the same, I have no idea why the cruise ship stopped here, it reminded me of the Tricorn Centre while they were halfway thro knocking it down.
Day 204 - Patiently Waiting
21/7/11 - This Chap was sitting waiting for his mate to have his go in a card game. I think he may be waiting a while.
Day 203 - Toulon
20/7/11 - This was the View of Toulon from our Ship, Looks quite a nice place but it was a bit of a disappointing destination (sorry if your from Toulon).
Day 202 - La Sagrada Familia
19/7/11 - This is Gaudi's unfinished Masterpiece the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, when this is complete in around 2026 i think it will look odd WITHOUT the cranes.
Day 201 - Barcelona Cathedral
18/7/11 - Barcelona Catherdal has a hidden Cloister in which 13 white geese are kept (13 was the age of Saint Eulalia of Barcelona when she was Matyred).
Day 200 - Casa Batllo
17/7/11 - This building built in 1877 was remodelled by Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s, locally it is known as the house of bones because on the bone shape window frames on the first few floors.
